New Fire Station in Alfred

The Alfred Fire Station located on St-Philippe Street no longer meets the operational needs of the fire department or the growing demands of the community. In 2024, the Township acquired a commercial property at 4916 County Road 17 with the intent of renovating the existing building into a modern, state-of-the-art fire hall. This new facility will significantly enhance service delivery, provide expanded training capabilities, and reduce long-term maintenance costs. The renovation project is currently underway and is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2026.
